Ingredients:

  • Flour

  • Water

Instructions:

  • Weigh out 55 grams of flour and 55 grams of water and pour into the same bowl.

  • Mix well, cover, and keep in a warm place

  • In 24 hours come back and discard half of your starter

  • Add 35 grams of flour and 35 grams of water into the original starter and mix well

  • Repeat this process every 24 hours for the next 5 days

  • You now have a sourdough starter that you can use to make all kinds of bread/ baked goods

So I decided to dive head first into bread making. This is a little different from anything I've done before, and some of the next few recipes will be very experimental.

One of my New Years resolutions this year was to post one new recipe a week, so every Wednesday I will post a recipe, so make sure to come back or sign up for email notifications if you want to follow along!

As always if you have any questions leave a comment below, happy baking!
